Bridesmaids' Dresses

My attendants and I went shopping to pick out their dresses in early February (2000). I have pictures that we got from various dresses they tried on as well as pictures of the actual dress they chose and wore.
		The one they finally chose
First, we went to David's Bridal. It wasn't very impressive. The woman that was "helping" us was rather rude and not much help at all (this was prior to my awful experience). The dresses were okay, but even the smallest size was way too big for my sister. We were very disheartened and I almost gave up and told them they could just wear whatever dress they wanted, different styles and different colors.
We decided to go to the Bridesmart down the street. Much better experience. The people were actually nice and helpful. We tried on a number of dresses (pictures weren't allowed. We got in trouble at DB for taking pictures also.) and weren't really happy with any of them. I took one last breeze through the racks and almost passed this one dress up but decided they should just try on everything. Sure enough, that's the dress they chose. And the best part is - the size 4 actually fit my sister! (Except the length of course) So what started out as fun and then became a chore turned out really really well.
